“Eridan Rock Band” was formed in August 2001 by Ivo Ikonomov and Dimo Tododrov (ex “Impulse” Rock & Heavy Band and “Konkurent” Rock Band). For lead vocal was invited Stanislav Pandin (ex “Rich Company” Rock Band). With these members the band started its first intensive rehearsals and in two months the band created its first authors songs and began its club concerts. The first of them was in Targovishte city on 19.10.2001. The band was very well accepted by the audience and had a great success. Then a tour in almost all cities in Bulgaria followed. By that time they were playing mostly cover versions of bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow, White Snake, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Accept, Dio, Pantera, Mr. Big, Uriah Heep, Yngwie Malmsteen and others. The name “Eridan” became more and more famous and well known among music society and soon after, the band recorded its first songs “Crystal star” and “Memories”. Then “Eridan” continues to participate actively in Bulgaria’s music life by playing in clubs, festivals and concerts. The songs turned harder and so was the band’s sound. Then came the idea of their first heavy metal song “Hard World”, which became a part of the “Harbor-Island Records” compilation “Metal Christmas”. In 2005 “Eridan” was the support band at the rock icon Glen Huges’s concert in Bulgaria.
The band was already one of the most wanted for participating in Motorcycle Fests. Soon after, a lot of concerts with some of the most popular rock musicians followed - Joe Lynn Turner, John Lawton, and Graham Bonnet and club concerts in Austria, which made the band very popular. At the moment, “Eridan” is preparing for its new album.
